I met Ed at the Ontario Regional confrence. he was the best speaker I ever heard.. the first speaker I ever really listed to. I have 2 coppies of that CD from the confrence...I just found out he had passed......Thank you God for letting me meet Ed M. Ed you are an amazing man that keep me sober today.....Waiting in line to shake your hand was well worth it..
Ed was an amazing speaker, a great example of the miracle of recovery. We are no longer alone, always have meetings and our higher power, true friends to stick together to live a good life. Eds journey on this earth is over, but 299 out of 300 people carry the message!!
I miss Ed M. Saw him at a conference in Oklahoma a couple of years back. Heard he died not long ago. This man changed the way I looked at things... This tape is amazing. If you can find the time, make sure and listen.
I heard this tape about a year and a half ago, really inspirational speakers. i laughed , cried and smiled . speaks from the heart and truly was a great man of AA.. THANK U EDD!! AND THANK U GOD FOR PUTTING THIS GREAT MANS WORDS AND COURAGE IN MY LIFE.. Ricky M. Sparta Tenn..
This speech was one of the most moving tapes I have ever heard---thank you so much--I thought I had done enough just by forgiving my best friends murderer until now. Wow! What a beautiful story--thank you for making this available!

I listened to this tape - and I was deeply touched by his words and his beautiful message. I took the time and read the comments. I was sad to hear that he had passed - but that was only for a few seconds. I was then glad - because his words and his story are now with me - and it is keeping me sober for today. Thank you Ed - and more importantly - thank you God.
I met Ed in a past sobriety in the early 90s shortly after he had returned to Davenport. I had the privilege of hanging out with him and seeing him in a couple meetings. He was/is an amazing example of what AA and more importantly God's grace can do to a person willing to be used as His vessel.
For those of you who didnt know, Ed passed away Dec. 22 2008 ,Ed sponsered me for 7 years he was such a kind , thoughtful and giving man .Ed always thought of others and put their needs before his ,Ed was all about of being of service to God and helping others, We have truly lost a great man who was a true example of Alcoholics Anonymous . We love and miss you Big Ed.
Awesome speaker, I truly hope you find this speaker all the way in the back here. I also believe if more people find this talk it will end up in that top 5 rating. Do yourselves a favor and don't pass this ol boy up. He's one of Clancy's people, along with God's people
